Well now you might know that if you are playing with wind you'll know that lowering your power and angle will fire your weapon in a much smaller arc, which will make the wind affect it less because it's not in the air for as long. Well, besides a few new power angle combos you might not have known before this, you can also apply what you have learned to improve your aim in every situation in SSL. So what should I take away from this guide? On top of this, 75,86 is actually closer to half the length of the aiming circle's radius than 50,86 is. For instance, 100,86 fires the weapon to the edge of the circle, but 50,86 FIRES THE WEAPON TO LESS THAN HALF THE CIRCLE RADIUS. This means, to go back to the question asked at the end of the first section, the LENGTH the ANGLE changes the arc by is DETERMINED by the POWER. (FYI exponentially means changing by a bigger and bigger amount, or smaller and smaller amount with each change) This means that increasing the power increases the OVERALL SHAPE, and, to an extent, the LENGTH of the arc EXPONENTIALLY. The power affects the ENTIRE SHAPE of the arc WITH EACH and EVERY percentage. So how does it affect the height, exactly? ( YOU SHOULD READ THIS TOO) The power affects the HEIGHT of the arc more than it does the LENGTH. Wait, so how does power change the arc? ( THIS IS THE PART YOU NEED TO READ) With arcs, changing power does not change the arc's shape the same amount. It sounds simple, right? Well it gets a bit more complicated because, well, math sucks. The power level goes from 0 to 100, which likely means 0% to 100% of the tank's full power. What is power? In SSL, power refers to how much force the weapon is shot out of your tank with. Wait, so how much does the length change per degree? It is also tripled at 100,78, and so on. However, DOUBLING THE ANGLE CHANGE TO 100,82 WILL MAKING THE WEAPON LAND TWICE THE LENGTH OF THE CIRCLE AWAY. For instance, at 100,86 the weapon will hit the edge of the circle that appears when you aim and lock in your weapon. Changing the angle by 1 degree changes the length by the same amount each time. So is the change in the length of the arc predictable based on the angle? ( maybe read this part too) THIS IS WHY BOTH 100, 66 AND 100,23 TRAVEL THE LENGTH OF THE MAP. What's interesting, though, is that angles between 0 and 45 will mirror angles between 45 and 90. The farthest length the arc can go is at a 45 degree angle. The arc will change in length depending on how high or low it is. Wait so how does it affect the length? ( YOU SHOULD PROBABLY READ THIS PART TOO) The angle affects the LENGTH of the arc more than it does the HEIGHT. How small or large? ( THIS IS THE PART YOU REALLY NEED TO READ) Depending on your angle (and power, but that comes next), the arc could be small or large. This is important because you can measure your angle to figure out how your arc will look. If it goes down to the most vertical line, the numbers become negative. In SSL, the angle is measured starting at the most horizontal line, and goes up to the most vertical line on both the left and right sides. If you divide a circle into 4 equal parts each one contains 90 degrees. A quick brush through the math involved in angles is that, for one thing, a circle has 360 different angles, or 360 degrees. The direction the weapon goes in directly from your tank is the angle we are talking about. What are angles? In ShellShock live most weapons are fired in an arc.
